Dan Dixon, of Arlington, retired from World Savings Bank where he served as group senior vice president and director of government relations and represented the company on public policy issues related to the financial services industry, including consumer protection, housing, federal deposit insurance, bank capital standards and government-sponsored enterprises. He holds bachelor and master of science degrees in physics from Southern Methodist University, where he also taught undergraduate physics, and a master of science in management degree from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. He also taught math to graduate students there.
